Take I-40 East to exit 421 (I-81 north toward Bristol).
Go 57 miles on I-81 north to exit 57A (I-181 South towards Johnson City).
Go 15 miles on I-181 to exit 31 (hwy 321 north toward Elizabethton).
Go 45 miles on hwy 321 north to Sugar Grove.
Note: 321 north turns several times, so be sure to watch for the signs. You will pass through Elizabethton and Hampton along this route.
Once in Sugar Grove, turn left onto Old US 421.
Landmark: Post office on right, Cove Creek store on left.
