clinic office hours

Due to the unique schedule of the acupuncture program at Jung Tao School, and to accommodate students and instructors who live outside the local area, the intern clinic is in operation 3 four or five day sessions each month, rather than on a weekly schedule. These sessions are:

• 1st friday - sunday of the month, 9 am - 7 pm
• 2nd friday - sunday of the month, 9 am - 7 pm
• 3rd wednesday - sunday of the month, 9 am - 7 pm

Though patients will only be scheduled for appointments during these times, office staff will be available to take your call every Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.


costs

Costs for intern treatments are as follows:

• sliding fee scale of $10-$30 for treatments in the intern clinic, based on income.
• free treatments for clinique patients (interview, diagnosis, and/or treatment plan conducted by students in the second or third year of training, with actual treatment performed by fourth year interns)

Payments for acupuncture treatments may be made with cash or check.

Directions from Boone and eastern Watauga County

• Take highway 421 north toward Tennessee.
• Go approximately 4 miles to hwy 321. Turn left onto hwy 321 at Skateworld.
• Go 1 mile to Old US 421. Turn right onto Old 421 at the Cove Creek Store.
• Go .5 mile to Dale Adams Road. Turn left.You will see Cove Creek, a large old stone school building and a playground on your left just before this turn.
• JTS is located in the right half of the large stone building. Please enter through the large class doors closest to the parking lot. The clinic is downstairs. Handicapped individuals may use the handicapped ramp at the end of the new addition.

Directions from Trade, Mountain City, and northern Watauga County

• Take highway 421 south toward Boone.
• Go approximately 15 miles to hwy 321. Turn right onto hwy 321 at Skateworld.
• Go 1 mile to Old US 421. Turn right onto old 421 at the Cove Creek Store.

• Take 321 north toward Boone and Sugar Grove, NC. Sugar Grove will be 10 miles past the North Carolina/Tennessee border.
• In Sugar Grove, turn left onto old US 421 at the Cove Creek Store.
