about jung tao productions Jung Tao Productions is a non profit orhanization working in conjunction with Jung Tao School to offer Chinese medical seminars and educational materials to the acupuncture profession, acupuncture students, and the public. Everything we offer is firmly rooted in the classic medical texts of ancient China. Our mission is to provide the finest Chinese medical educational materials and lectures available to as large an audience as possible. We strive not only to keep the spirit of acupuncture alive in its original and purest form, but also to integrate this ancient energetic healing art with modern Western "material" medicine. We see this integrated approach to health care as one more representation of the most basic of Daoist principles: that the interplay between matter and energy is the essence of the universe we live in. Seminars: Jung Tao Productions offers a variety of seminars by JTS faculty, adjunct faculty and visiting instructors. We offer both didactic and practical sessions in acupuncture theory, clinical applications, and taijiquan. Videos: Over the past several years, JTP has filmed its larger seminars and offered these tapes and DVDs to the public. Books: Jung Tao is dedicated to bringing the ancient medical texts into the Enlish language, as well as producing new works based on these texts. The first and second volumes of the Huangdi Neijing Lingshu are currently available in hardcover form. Text: We currently have several Chinese medical articles available. Some are available for download on this site, some are for sale, and others in production. Graphics: JTS staff continuously produces educational graphics as study aids for students of its acupuncture program. These graphics are available to the public. Public Education Courses: There is no more potent a medicine than a patient taking an active role in their own healing. Our faculty offers free introductory lectures to the public about acupuncture and integrative medicine, periodic longer courses on the energetics of acupuncture, and ongoing weekly taijiquan classes. |
